Jacqueline and ashley got here safely!! i was so excited to see them!
we took a cable car from Tung Chung to go see the Big Buddha and the Po Lin Monestary: The buddha is 45 meters tall and is made of bronze. We climbed the giant staircase to go right up to the buddha-- it is such a spiritually calm place, it just feels different up there...beautiful
such beautiful carvings out of stone on the walls and pillars of the po lin monestary, gorgeous!
So, as you can see from the pictures, we've been having a wonderful time and keeping busy! So much to see and do. We're going to make the most of our time here (4 more days or so) And then Jacqueline and i are off for our tours and grand adventures!!!

Sweet pictures, loved the Big Buddha and the Po Lin I'm sure the girls loved it too! I'm glad Jacqueline and ashley made it safe! I bet your turbo excited for your next trip! I like how everything on your list of things to do HK styles I've done so its like I'm there too! Enjoy Dim Sum today, and eat a snowman for me....or package one in the mail and send it my way ;) Or steal the recipe from the baker and we can mass produce them in Canada $$$ lol.
