This picture is out of my sisters window looking down, 63 stories up!!! I need to attach my safety line before going out onto the balcony. It is a beautiful view of the mountains straight ahead off of the balcony. Luckily today is a clear day, with a nice view of the mountains. (usually it is quite foggy or misty and hard to see her in her full glory!)
We call this mountain 'mount murderhorn'. I have climbed this mountain on my last trip to Hong Kong, but have yet to do it this time around. The weather has not been the most condusive to a climb. It is been hot hot hot approx. mid thirties and very STICKY. So, we're thinking of doing the trek early one morning before the heat has reached the peak for the day (no pun intended..lol)
Today, i am able to check one thing off my 'to do' list. I have gone for a 'pacific coffee' (their version of starbucks or second cup, and equally expensive.. but oh so worth it!)
Also today, i met with the rest of my hong kong family (my brother and Fanny) and we went for dim sum breakfast (a favourite around here.)
i have been having a wee bit of trouble adjusting to the 12 hour time change, and have been finding myself awake in the middle of the night, and quite tired during the day. (i am sure the allergy pills dont help my cause much-- but i think id rather be tired than sneezy!) So, i am hoping that by tonight i can get back on track. Perhaps a nap is in order?!! (that always helps ;)
So, basically, i am enjoying my time off. Quite low key so far, just hanging out, having coffee, taking naps, enjoying great food and wonderful company-- planning for the weeks to come.
Missing home, and all of you guys-- seriously wish you could be here with me. Everyday i see and think of things that i know you guys would be loving.
-Mom, i know you would have been up murder horn at least 3 times by now, and Lindsay, i know you would have FALLEN down murderhorn at least once by now.
I hope you are all doing well, and would love a little gossip sent my way (ie- work, boys etc...) I hope at least a few of you send me some dirt.

That view is amazing, Mich!!! I'd do the Murderhorn with you for sure, but like Lindsay, might fall down it. Though that would make for a great photo op :o)
Boys on my end of things suck...I'll fill you in later. Let's just say Texas won in the end...However, perhaps we just need to go to Mississauga and f&*k his s&^t up :o) Miss you tons,

Oh Great pics buddy ;) I totally would have fallen then rolled down the great murder horn by now! You need to get a good pic of your toes hanging over the edge of Barb's apartment balcony those are always classic!
